After breakfast, we set off driving towards Ait Boualli valley to visit Neolithic rock carvings of Tizi N Tirghist, dating from around 3500 to 4000 years. We then continue to visit the dinosaur footprints of Ait Blal, which were inhabited during the period from the Lower Jurassic to the Lower Cretaceous, spanning between 180 Ma and 80 Ma.
The three mentioned sites, including Ait Bougumez valley, are remarkable locations showcasing high ecological and archaeological significance within the MGOUN Geopark. This extensive project covers an impressive area of 5730 km² and earned the prestigious UNESCO label in 2014.
